Abstract:

“I tell you frankly that I am now firmly convinced that you have a great future in the service of India. For India, and especially for the women of India, there is a need for a woman—a true lioness—rather than a man. India is still unable to produce a great woman of its own, and therefore she must borrow one from another nation. Your education, dedication, purity, boundless love, determination—and above all, the Celtic blood flowing through your veins—make you exactly the kind of woman that India needs today.”
