Abstract:

This paper discussed the spirit of equality in Nazrul's poetry. Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam is widely known is the rebel poet, but the fact that he was a true communist poet can be seen in his poem and songs. Nazrul’s idea of equality emerged from the realities of his life. In this article, I have summarized in full the non- communal attitude of Nazrul towards the people in the arena of equality, society and literature. He wanted to create a new egalitarian society by eliminating discrimination among the people of society. Therefore, it is to find a poet of truth and equality like him not only in Bengali literature, but in the entire world literature.
