Abstract:

Bridging the digital divide is crucial for ensuring equitable access to education, especially in remote and underserved regions. The Digital Infrastructure for Knowledge Sharing (Diksha) and Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds (SWAYAM) are transformative platforms designed to provide free, accessible, and high-quality educational resources across India. By leveraging these platforms, educational institutions can reach students from diverse backgrounds, promoting inclusive learning. This initiative aligns with the government's vision of empowering individuals through technology and bridging the gap between urban and rural education systems. The success of Diksha and SWAYAM in democratizing access to education can serve as a model for global efforts to integrate technology into teaching and learning, ensuring that all learners, regardless of their socio- economic status, have equal opportunities to succeed.
